Job summary

Tyree Oil is seeking a Field Service Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and service vehicles and equipment in the field, shop, or at customer locations. You will remove, install, and repair components and perform failure analysis on electrical, hydraulic, and transmission systems.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of mechanical repair experience, a strong work ethic, and excellent customer service. Frequent travel within the service territory and occasional overnight stays are required, with safety as

Qualifications

3+ years of demonstrated mechanical repair experience with vehicles, heavy equipment, or generator engines.
Working knowledge of mechanical systems and the ability to diagnose electrical, hydraulic, transmission, and electronic systems.
Strong work ethic, customer-service orientation, independent judgment, problem solving, reliability, and clear communication.
High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

Independently diagnose, repair, and service vehicles and equipment in the field, shop, and at customer locations.
Remove, install, repair, and evaluate mechanical components; perform failure analysis as needed.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, transmissions, and electronic/computer systems.
Provide professional, customer-focused service and communicate with customers throughout service work.
Safely operate and care for a company-provided service vehicle and tools; travel frequently.
