Job summary

ElectriCom Inc. is seeking a Field Service Mechanic to maintain and repair construction equipment used in utility operations. You will diagnose, service, and certify equipment in shop or field settings, with a Monday–Friday schedule and pay based on experience.

The role requires diagnosing mechanical/hydraulic/electrical issues, using a company-provided service truck, and documenting all activities. CDL is preferred; background checks apply.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with diesel engines and hydraulic systems.
• 3+ years of experience in heavy equipment mechanics.
• Ability to read, write, and interpret safety rules and manuals in English.
• Strong time-management skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on field equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on trucks, drills, plows, and excavators.
• Inspect equipment and document service and repairs.
• Return equipment to service and ensure safety compliance.
• Complete daily activity reports and participate in required training.
