Job summary

Express Employment in Florida is seeking a skilled service technician to diagnose and repair diesel and gasoline engines, as well as related pump and equipment systems. The role includes field service, on-site installation, and customer training to ensure proper operation and safety compliance.

Ideal candidates will have 2–4 years of relevant experience, a high school diploma or GED, and perhaps a technical/vocational background.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; graduate of a technical/vocational training program is preferred.
• Two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in diesel engines and hydraulic pumps.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnosis, troubleshooting and minor service and repairs on diesel and gas engines.
• Perform diagnosis, troubleshooting and minor service and repairs on pumps and equipment.
• Deliver equipment to customer locations and job sites, including loading/unloading trucks.
• Set-up & installation of pumps and related equipment including pipe fusing.
• Assist and train customers on pump operation and service requirements.
• Document, organize and track work orders and related forms for billing/invoicing.
• Adhere to safety and security regulations and procedures; report unsafe acts/conditions.
• Work after-hours and weekends on-call as needed.
