Job summary

Frank's Supply Company is seeking a qualified small engine mechanic for our El Paso, TX location. This role diagnoses and repairs rental equipment to ensure customer satisfaction and safe operation.

You will perform preventive maintenance, inspect equipment, create work orders, and uphold a clean, safe shop. Must have own tools and a valid driver's license; rental experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5 years experience diagnosing and repairing 2 and 4 stroke engines.
• Rental experience preferred.
• Good reading and comprehension skills.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• The ability to consistently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must have your own tools.
• Have a valid driver’s license.

OBJECTIVE

This position diagnoses and repairs rental equipment to insure complete customer satisfaction.

• Analyze malfunctions and repair all two and four stroke engine driven equipment as required to ensure proper working condition for the customer
• Conduct preventive maintenance to avoid unnecessary repairs and down time
• Perform safety inspections on equipment
• Create work order and assess time and cost of repairs
• Maintains a clean and safe shop work environment
