SDM Co. is currently seeking a full-time Field Service Mechanic to join our skilled team in Washington, UT. Working in the field, you will have the opportunity to embrace new challenges every day while providing exceptional service to our valued customers. This role involves diagnosing and repairing complex issues, performing general maintenance, and applying your technical expertise and hands-on problem-solving skills.

YOUR IMPACT

You typically work from Monday - Friday, 7:00 am – 5:00 pm.

In this role, you will travel to client sites to diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of vehicles and machinery. Your responsibilities include troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues, conducting comprehensive inspections, and performing necessary repairs to ensure optimal performance. You will record your services in detailed repair orders. Your ability to complete quality work while meeting deadlines directly contributes to our company's success!

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN A FIELD SERVICE MECHANIC

• 2+ years of experience working with heavy equipment and trucks
• Class B CDL and valid driver's license
• Computer proficiency
• Ability to read and interpret safety documents, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Punctual, dependable, and flexible

Our ideal candidate can pass a DOT physical and is MSHA and OSHA certified. A Class A CDL is a bonus.
