Role Summary

Role Summary

This position is ideal for a results-driven leader with a strong background in technical service and team development. The Field Service Manager will lead a team of skilled service professionals responsible for supporting and maintaining cutting-edge hardware and software solutions. This role plays a key part in driving operational excellence, enhancing customer satisfaction, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation within a dynamic technology environment.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Leading and managing a team of service specialists who support business system products, including hardware, software, and document management solutions.
  2. Hiring, training, mentoring, and developing new and existing technical staff.
  3. Resolving client issues efficiently and effectively to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  4. Managing inventory and warehousing processes related to service logistics.
  5. Keeping the team up to date with emerging technologies and industry developments.

What You Bring

  1. A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with at least 7 years of relevant experience including the management of two or more full-time employees.
  2. Proven leadership experience in service operations, particularly within a tech-driven environment.
  3. Hands-on experience in field technical service, with deep knowledge of digital and electromechanical systems.
  4. Familiarity with hardware, software, document management solutions, and connectivity troubleshooting in business settings.
  5. Comfort using tools such as Microsoft Office, Oracle, and internet-based platforms; knowledge of Lotus Notes is a plus.
  6. A strong background in customer service and technical issue resolution.
  7. Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills.
  8. Experience in overseeing parts inventory, warehousing, and dispatch processes.

Preferred Background

Candidates with prior roles such as Service Manager, Field Manager, or Facilities Manager are encouraged to apply. Experience in military field management is also valued due to the alignment in leadership and operational expertise.
