We are seeking knowledgeable, customer-focused auto, diesel, aircraft, or forklift technicians to join the Crown team.

Job Duties

• Communicate daily with Service Customer Care, Dispatchers, and Field Service Managers to coordinate work schedules.
• Train, motivate, and monitor the performance of Field Service Technicians, including at customer locations. Inspect repairs and scheduled maintenance. Ensure safety practices are followed. Review paperwork and timecards.
• Engage with customers and communicate issues to branch management. Maintain good customer relations.
• Travel to customer sites to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair lift trucks.
• Provide operator training or train-the-trainer sessions at customer locations.
• Pick up parts and replenish van inventory. Perform minor repairs and servicing of the van.
• Complete all necessary paperwork accurately.

Minimum Qualifications

• 2-4 years of related experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license, a good driving record, and the ability to operate lift trucks safely

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Field Service Technician
• Strong mechanical and electrical skills, including knowledge of electrical/electronic systems, hydraulics, and internal combustion engines; ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics
• Technical degree, welding experience, and familiarity with testing equipment are preferred
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and motivational skills
