Fisher Industries is a vertically integrated family of businesses providing heavy civil construction and aggregate products across the United States. The Heavy Equipment Mechanic role involves safely repairing and servicing various heavy equipment and vehicles in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues, reading schematics, and performing on-site repairs with a focus on safety.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid Class A or B CDL.
• Valid DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate.
• Acceptable MVR per Fisher policy.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions including heat and rain.
• Strong technical knowledge of heavy equipment repair.
• Detail oriented and able to work with minimal guidance.
• Basic computer skills (Email, Smartphone, Excel).
• Excellent communication with a wide variety of people and backgrounds.

Responsabilités

• Ensure safe practices in all daily activities.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues.
• Read schematics, diagrams, blueprints to assist with repairs and diagnostics.
• Diagnose complex electric, hydraulic, and mechanical issues.
• Remove, replace, and repair major components on heavy equipment and vehicles.
• Perform routine services on heavy equipment.
• On-site repairs in the field as needed in a fast-paced environment.
• Occasional weekend and night work may be required.
• Travel will be required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
