Bruker is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, inspect, repair and maintain Bruker AXS XRD systems in the US Midwest. You will perform on-site service across multiple locations, ensuring high performance and reliability of the instruments.

You will travel extensively (75%+), diagnose complex issues, and work with customers to deliver rapid, effective solutions. A strong electronics background and hands-on maintenance experience are essential for success in this role.

Formación

• Analyze, diagnose, and repair complex equipment problems quickly.

Responsabilidades

• Install analytical X-ray equipment at customer sites.
• Analyze malfunctioning X-ray equipment and determine corrective actions.
• Perform preventive maintenance per procedures.
• Submit accurate reports of all job activities.
• Participate in on-the-job training of field staff when required.
• Suggest improvements to equipment performance and functionality.
• Be available during normal hours for reassignment and phone support.
• Maintain contact with customers to prevent unreported issues.
• Promote and maintain service contracts in the region.
• Keep up-to-date on product changes to increase capabilities.
• Conduct field assignments per service procedures.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by manager/supervisor.
• Travel to customer locations 75% or higher.
