Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA seeks a Field Service Representative - Mechanical to commission water treatment plants, liaise with design and construction teams, and train customer staff on operation and maintenance. You will travel extensively across North America, support safety standards, and deliver high-quality technical reports.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or college diploma with 5+ years in water treatment, strong customer focus, and experience with RO/ED and Ion Exchange systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or College Diploma with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Water Treatment field.
• Strong focus on customer relationships (external and internal).
• Knowledge of VEOLIA WTS products and systems (RO/ED, Ion Exchange, Thermal).
• Ability to work independently and remotely with project teams.
• Water treatment chemistry knowledge and ability to communicate it.

Responsibilities

• Commissioning water treatment plants; ensure equipment and control systems meet specs.
• Liaise between design engineering and construction during erection.
• Provide technical instruction to customer representatives on installation, operation, calibration, and maintenance.
• Manage outside vendors and suppliers to meet project specs and performance.
