Job summary

Atlas Copco North America LLC is seeking a Field Service Engineer to deliver expert repair services for vacuum pumps and systems, ensuring safety and high customer satisfaction. You will travel to customer sites, perform inspections, troubleshooting, installations, and provide actionable recommendations to keep equipment running.

You will report to the Field Service Manager, work independently with strong self-management, and maintain documentation while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with technical training in electrical, hydraulics, or pneumatics.
• 1–2 years of experience maintaining and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Willingness to travel extensively to customer sites.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in industrial environments.
• Fluent in English and a valid driver9s license.

Responsibilities

• Report into the Field Service Manager.
• Inspect, service, troubleshoot, and repair vacuum pumps and systems.
• Diagnose issues to prevent equipment downtime.
• Perform installations, ensure safety compliance, and document activities.
• Be on-site contact, provide service recommendations and address customer needs promptly.
