Job summary

ProAutomated Inc. seeks a travel-driven field engineer to support data center startups and on-site testing across North America.

You’ll lead startup, checkout, and acceptance testing for warehouse and manufacturing systems, collaborating with integration partners to ensure flawless performance in critical moments. Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in electrical/mechanical/automation fields or a technical degree, with strong problem-solving and communication skills, and a willingness to relocate

Qualifications

• Willing to travel and be away from home on rotation.
• Baseline knowledge of electrical systems, programming, and networking.
• 3+ years in related field or a technical degree.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Personal vehicle for local projects.

Responsibilities

• Support data center startups, performing on-site mechanical, electrical, and control checks.
• Lead startup, checkout, and acceptance testing for warehouse fulfillment and manufacturing systems.
• Partner with automation and controls engineers to test, troubleshoot, and validate systems on-site.
• Provide clear communication and updates to customers and project teams to keep progress smooth and accurate.
• Travel rotations follow 5 on - 2 off, 10 on – 4 off, or 14 on – 7 off.
