Job summary

Manufacturing-Maintenance-Solutions- is seeking a Field Service Engineer Specialist to diagnose, repair, install, and service CNC machinery and manufacturing equipment at customer sites near Pekin, IL. Local travel is expected on a Monday-Friday day shift in a full-time role.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of field service, industrial maintenance, CNC repair, or equipment troubleshooting experience
• Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
• Experience working independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations to inspect, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing equipment
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control system issues
• Perform equipment repairs quickly and efficiently to minimize downtime
• Install, commission, and calibrate new machinery and systems
• Troubleshoot CNC controls, PLCs, drives, motors, and automation components
• Read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical documentation
• Provide technical support and training to customers on equipment operation and maintenance
• Complete service documentation and communicate findings and recommendations
• Partner with customers to identify long-term reliability and performance improvements

As a Field Service Engineer Specialist / Travel Technician, you'll travel to customer locations providing hands‑on troubleshooting, repair, installation, and technical support for CNC machinery and manufacturing equipment. Every day brings new challenges, and your expertise plays a direct role in keeping customer operations productive and efficient.

Requirements

What You Need

• 3-5+ years of field service, industrial maintenance, CNC repair, or equipment troubleshooting experience
