Job summary

A leading industrial manufacturer is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to support service technicians in installing and maintaining servo-electric and hydraulic press systems. This role, involving up to 50% travel, requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, installation, retrofitting, and providing customer support to ensure optimal operational performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 5–7 years experience without a bachelor's degree.
• Self-starter who is adaptable to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Identify system failures and implement effective solutions.
• Install and commission press systems at customer sites.
• Design and implement structural and hydraulic press system retrofits.
• Provide on-site and remote troubleshooting for hydraulic presses.
• Guide customers on appropriate courses of action for optimal press performance.
• Maintain detailed service reports including diagnostics and parts usage.
• Provide customers with hands-on training and technical assistance.
