Job summary
JST Manufacturing in Idaho is seeking an experienced Field/Service Engineer to troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve complex semiconductor wet processing equipment issues. You will lead startup, commissioning, and qualification of automated wet bench systems while ensuring compliance with SEMI standards.
You will serve as a primary technical consultant to customers, interpret schematics, program PLCs, perform wiring, and collaborate with engineering to drive process improvements and design
Qualifications
- Associate degree or better in engineering/tech/semiconductor field or an equivalent combo with 5+ years field experience.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (ME/EE) or related science preferred.
- Experience with semiconductor equipment, automation, or precision manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Analyze complex system failures using advanced diagnostic techniques.
- Interpret schematics and engineering drawings to diagnose problems.
- Lead startup and qualification of automated wet bench systems (500K–5M+).
- Program and troubleshoot PLC systems using ladder logic and control algorithms.
- Document service activities and communicate clearly with customers and factory teams.
