Position Description:

Our Field Service Engineers have a unique opportunity to employ their technical experience by collaborating with healthcare professionals and leading technical initiatives in medical device technology. You will be responsible for installing, updating, completing preventative maintenance, and other services as needed for state-of-the-art Temperature Management Systems in hospitals across the United States, while delivering exceptional customer service. This is a great opportunity to advance your technical skills in the medical device industry!

Position Details:

This is a short-term, 100% travel position, with an average of 2-4 weeks of travel per month.

Responsibilities:
  1. Provide ongoing communication and support to hospital staff.
  2. Organize, evaluate, and update medical devices, install, and configure hardware, software, and network products.
  3. Conduct routine checks and record data from product tests after installation and configuration.
  4. Document and submit daily data, maintaining high standards of support documentation.
  5. Travel locally, regionally, and nationally; occasional international travel possible.
  6. Work a schedule of 40 hours per week with overtime as needed.
  7. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
  • Associate degree, military training, or equivalent biomedical/technical field experience (3-5 years).
  • Strong computer skills for troubleshooting and remote support across multiple software platforms.
  • Effective communication and professional business skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or in a team.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle for local travel.
  • Ability to sit, stand for extended periods, and lift up to 70 pounds.
  • Ability to meet hospital credentialing requirements, including vaccination proof.
  • Reside within 45 minutes to 1 hour of a major airport; weekly travel required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Background in biomedical, networking, military, or technical roles.
  • Experience in healthcare environments.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

The potential pay range is $27.00 - $30.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience. Additional incentives, bonuses, and benefits may apply.
