CGS (Contact Government Services) seeks a Field Service Representative (FSR) Engineer to deploy and operate a production-grade data and application platform in mission-critical environments. You will be embedded with customers in the Tampa area, turning complex data into reliable live systems that support critical decision-making.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering fundamentals.
• Experience with Python, PySpark, Java, JavaScript, SQL, or similar languages.
• Familiarity with data systems, APIs, and distributed architectures.
• Ability to operate independently in customer-facing, on-site environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills in ambiguous, real-world settings.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain a distributed data and application platform in production.
• Integrate data from disparate source systems while preserving lineage and governance.
• Build and customize operational applications, workflows, and analytics.
• Design and maintain data pipelines supporting real-time and batch use cases.
• Troubleshoot high-impact issues in live operational environments.
• Work directly with users to understand workflows and translate needs into technical solutions.
• Partner with internal product and engineering teams to improve platform capabilities.
