Job summary

Contact Government Services (CGS) seeks a Field Service Representative (FSR) Engineer to deploy and operate a production-grade data and application platform in mission-critical environments. You’ll work embedded with customers at the intersection of software engineering, data integration, and real-world operations to turn complex data into reliable live systems that support critical decision-making.

Qualifications

• Proficient in software engineering fundamentals.
• Experience with Python, PySpark, Java, JavaScript and SQL.
• Familiar with data systems, APIs and distributed architectures.
• Able to work independently in customer-facing, on-site environments.
• Strong problem-solving and communication with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and maintain a distributed data and application platform in production.
• Integrate data from disparate sources while preserving lineage.
• Build operational apps, workflows, and analytics.
• Design data pipelines for real-time and batch use cases.
• Troubleshoot high-impact issues in live environments.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to improve platform capabilities.
