Field Service Engineering role, New Jersey Based OEM of Electronic Control Systems for Essential Industries

Work on Unique/Customizable systems control, data collection, network and electronics connected automation type systems.

Desired Skills/Experience/Profile:

• Experience installing or troubleshooting Electronic Control Systems (SCADA, MES, HMI, DCS or similar) for industrial environments.
• PLC programming experience, including writing or customizing Ladder Logic code and familiarity with related PLC technology.
• HMI experience: customizing and configuring HMI software for user interfaces.
• Connecting PLC-based systems to networks via TCP/IP, routers, switches, hubs, and other networking environments.
• Strong verbal communication skills and proven time management and task prioritization skills.
• Experience working in roles that build, design, customize, install, or service PLC-based electronic control systems (DCS, HMI, SCADA, MES).
• Familiarity with multiple PLC brands (Emerson, GE, Allen Bradley, Schneider, Rockwell), ladder logic, iFix, WinCC, MES, Wonderware, Profinet, or Ethernet connectivity to PLC systems.
• Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.

Preferred qualifications (not required):

• Knowledge of PCB wiring, low-level electronics, troubleshooting, or replacing electronics in industrial systems.
• Coding or programming skills in SQL, C++, or similar.
• Electrical engineering background, college degree, military, or technical training.
• Experience in electronics field engineering roles.
