Field Service Engineering role, New Jersey Based OEM of Electronic Control Systems for Essential Industries

Work on Unique/Customizable systems control, data collection, network and electronics connected automation type systems.

Desired Skills/Experience/Profile:

• Experience installing or troubleshooting Electronic Control Systems (SCADA, MES, HMI, DCS or similar) for Industrial Type Environments.
• PLC programming (Current experience Writing or Customizing Ladder Logic code) and/or related PLC technology.
• HMI Experience: Experience customizing and configuring HMI User interfacing software.
• Experience connecting PLC-based systems to a network through TCP/IP, routers/switches/hubs, Windows or other networking environments.
• Strong Verbal Communication Skills and proven Time Management skills.
• Experience working in a similar role for a company that builds, designs, customizes, installs and/or services PLC based Electronic Control Systems (Distributed Control Systems, DCS, HMI, SCADA, MES or similar) is a plus.
• Familiarity or experience with PLC programming on multiple brands (Emerson, GE, Allen Bradley, Modicon/Schneider, Rockwell), ladder logic, iFix, WinCC, MES, Wonderware, Profinet or other Ethernet network connectivity to PLC systems.
• Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.

Pluses: (not required/nice to have)

• Experience with or knowledge of PCB's, wiring, low-level electronics, troubleshooting, and replacement inside industrial electro-mechanical systems.
• Coding or Programming experience: SQL, C++ or similar.
• Electrical Engineering training or study; a college degree (A.S. or B.S.) in Electrical Engineering, or Military/Technical School training.
• Experience in a similar Electronics Field Engineering role is a plus.
