Job summary

Zeeco Europe is seeking a proactive Field Service Engineer to perform on-site commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of legacy equipment across Europe and the Middle East. The role involves extensive travel and close collaboration with end users to ensure safe, reliable operation of combustion systems.

You will read P&IDs, electrical schematics, and mechanical drawings, supervise outages, and deliver hands-on training.

Qualifications

• Strong background in mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and PLC control systems.
• Ability to work independently and in a team with proactive problem-solving.
• Travelling up to 200+ days per year and 1–2 week periods.
• Safety-focused, comfortable in heights, confined spaces, and offshore.
• Ability to read P&IDs, electrical schematics, and mechanical drawings.
• Strong verbal and written communication and computer skills.
• Experience in combustion within oil, gas, or petrochemical industries is advantageous.
• Time served away from home is desirable.
• Flexibility to travel for prolonged periods (up to 6 weeks).

Responsibilities

• On-site commissioning of legacy and retrofit equipment and general maintenance.
• Prepare RAMS, site visit reports, and timesheets for clients.
• Start up and maintain Zeeco’s combustion products and systems.
• Identify opportunities for aftermarket spares and site service.
• Supervise on-site turnaround/outages and deliver training.
• Adhere to safety policies and promote a safe working environment.
