Job summary

Profound Medical is seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide onsite support in the U.S. with primary responsibility for installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Profound products using real-time MR imaging and temperature feedback control.

You will travel frequently, perform MR testing during hospital visits, and document service activities in accordance with the company QMS. The role requires strong communication skills, ability to prioritize customer needs, and a proactive approach

Qualifications

Willingness to travel 80% of the time in the US.
Excellent customer focus and ability to interact with health care professionals.
Prior field service experience is desirable.
Experience with MRI operations is desirable.
Strong multitasking, problem-solving and initiative.
Ability to work in a team and independently with accountability.
Excellent MS Office and networking communication skills.
Knowledge of ISO 9001 or ISO 13485 is preferred.
Preferred locations: North East, near an airport.

Responsibilities

Perform and support all installation activities for Profound products, including site assessments and maintenance.
Conduct MR testing to support product development activities at hospital sites.
Act as the primary link between customer and Profound as needed.
Document service records according to QMS for service visits and upgrades.
Perform calibration of Profound products as required.
Execute test and troubleshooting protocols for hardware, software and systems.
