Job summary
Sun Recruiting, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service medical laboratory analyzers in the greater Rock Island, IL area. The role involves installation, maintenance, and preventive servicing of automated instrumentation.
The ideal candidate has an electronics/electro-mechanical background, a Certificate or AAS in electronics, at least 3 years of field service experience, and is willing to travel overnight. COVID-19 vaccination is required.
Qualifications
- Certificate or AAS in electronics is required.
- Experience with electronics & electro-mechanical troubleshooting.
- Overnight travel is required.
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a field service engineer.
- Experience servicing medical lab analyzers or similar instrumentation is a plus.
- COVID-19 vaccination is required.
Responsibilities
- Install, service, and perform preventive maintenance on laboratory instrumentation.
- Establish a solid customer relations foundation.
- Coordinate issue resolution within the Field Support Group.
- Maintain vehicle inventory and trunk stock.
- Provide on-site training on instrument operation.
