Job summary
Talent Solutions Partners is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service medical laboratory analyzers in the Rock Island, IL area. The role requires electronics and electro-mechanical troubleshooting expertise and overnight travel.
You will install, service, and perform preventive maintenance on instrumentation, build customer relationships, and coordinate issue resolution. Applicants must have a electronics certificate or AAS and at least 3 years in field service, with COVID-19 vaccination.
Qualifications
- Certificate or AAS in electronics or related discipline.
- Experience with electronics & electro-mechanical troubleshooting.
- Overnight travel required.
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a field service engineer.
- Experience servicing medical lab analyzers or other medical instrumentation is a plus.
- COVID-19 vaccination required.
Responsibilities
- Install, service, and perform preventive maintenance of instrumentation.
- Establish a good customer relations foundation.
- Coordinate problem resolution within the Field Support Group.
- Maintain car inventory (tools, stock).
- Provide basic on-site training on operation of company instrumentation.
