Job summary
Aspire Talent Solutions in Rock Island, IL is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to install, service, and maintain advanced medical laboratory instrumentation in the Quad Cities area. You will travel overnight as needed and work with hematology, chemistry, and coagulation analyzers, ensuring high reliability and customer satisfaction.
A Certificate or AAS in electronics is required; 3+ years of field service experience preferred. Vaccination against COVID-19 is required.
Qualifications
- Experience with electronics and electro-mechanical troubleshooting.
- Overnight travel required.
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a field service engineer.
- Experience servicing medical lab analyzers or other medical instrumentation is a plus.
- COVID-19 vaccination required.
Responsibilities
- Install, service, and perform preventive maintenance on instrumentation.
- Establish strong customer relations foundations.
- Coordinate problem resolution within the Field Support Group.
- Maintain car inventory, tools, and spare parts in the vehicle.
- Provide basic on-site training on operation of company instrumentation.
