Job summary

ASHFORD CONNEX, LLC in Rock Island, IL is seeking a field service engineer to install, service, and maintain medical laboratory analyzers in the Quad Cities area. Overnight travel is required, and you will build strong customer relationships while supporting on-site operations.

The ideal candidate has an electronics background, 3+ years of field service experience, and is fully vaccinated. A company vehicle, tools, and comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Certificate or AAS in electronics or related discipline is required.
• Strong experience with electronics & electro-mechanical troubleshooting.
• Overnight travel will be required.
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a field service engineer.
• Experience servicing medical lab analyzers or other medical instrumentation is a plus.
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and perform preventive maintenance on instrumentation.
• Establish a solid customer relations foundation.
• Coordinate problem resolution within the Field Support Group.
• Maintain vehicle inventory, tools, and trunk stock.
• Provide on-site training regarding instrument operation.
