Job summary

Bruker in Illinois is looking for a Field Service Engineer to support mass spectrometry instrumentation, especially the Bruker TimsTOF instruments. This role involves installing and maintaining equipment, with significant travel required across the Mid-West.

The ideal candidate will have a B.S. in a relevant field and at least 3 years experience in mass spectrometer diagnostics. Strong technical skills and a focus on customer support are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience diagnosing and repairing mass spectrometers.
• Experience with GLP and working in a regulated environment.
• Strong technical skills involving analytical instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Familiarize and train customers for basic operation of the equipment.
• Perform remote support and diagnostic analysis.
• Organize and prioritize schedule according to customer needs.
• Re-qualify the entire instrument after service repair.
• Perform installation of new systems and maintenance.
