A technology solutions provider in Wood Dale, IL is seeking a Field Service Technician. In this role, you will perform installations and services of Magnetic Active Cancellation Systems (MACS), generate technical reports, and provide training. The position requires 90% travel both domestically and internationally. Ideal candidates will have an Associate's degree and familiarity with electronic test equipment. Qualifications
Associate's degree or equivalent from a two‑year college or technical school; or equivalent experience required.
Familiarity with electronic test equipment including signal generators, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, DMM.
1+ years of Field Service experience.
1+ years of experience in customer service and repairs.
Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
Good driving record with a valid driver's license.
In‑depth understanding of testing concepts.
Responsibilities
Perform Magnetic Active Cancellation System (MACS) installations and services.
Generate technical reports for each field visit.
Repair and troubleshoot MACS and FMDS installations.
Provide training for field service technicians.
Perform demonstrations for customers and OEMs.
Skills
Familiarity with electronic test equipment
