Eaton’s Field Service Engineer Internship offers hands‑on experience with electrical power distribution equipment and customer projects across multiple U.S. regions.

You will be coached by leaders within the Electrical Engineering Services and Systems group, participate in a structured training curriculum, and develop technical and leadership skills for a successful career with Eaton.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled or graduated in an engineering program at an accredited institution.
• Minimum GPA 2.8 (overall).
• Must relocate within the United States.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Work on assigned projects for electrical power distribution equipment.
• Deliver technical solutions to customers.
• Perform less conventional complex engineering assignments including design, testing, or research.
• Gain knowledge in test equipment operation, troubleshooting, protective relays, power quality measurements, and more.
• Generate timely service reports on work, product performance and warranties.
