Job summary

Murata Machinery Usa is seeking a Field Service Engineer to effectively execute field service activities on multiple products at our Boise site. You will demonstrate Level II skills from the Field Service Engineer matrix and interact professionally with customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities include installations, maintenance, software installation, troubleshooting, and documenting technical reports.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or technical certification preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of technical field service experience in semiconductor or related industry.
• Proficient with electrical diagnostics and reading schematics.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety protocols and report unsafe conditions.
• Perform routine installations and maintenance on assigned products.
• Install software using provided procedures and release notes.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on-site.
• Obtain trainings and certifications on multiple products.
• Prepare technical paperwork and site reports.
• Interact with customers and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
