Kelly Services is seeking a Field Service Engineer II to perform on-site service and repair of semiconductor processing equipment in Austin, TX. The role requires 100% domestic travel and a base at any TEL office site, with a 1-year assignment and potential extensions.

The candidate should have an Associate degree in electronics or engineering (Bachelor's preferred) and 2+ years of related experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and excellent customer interface and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in electronics or engineering; Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology preferred.
• 2+ years of maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of semiconductor capital equipment.
• Excellent customer interface skills are required.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to use appropriate tools.
• Understanding of maintenance, repair and installation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Performs on-site service and repair of semiconductor processing equipment.
• Troubleshoots equipment problems and maintains records and reports.
• Coordinates activities with peers, supervisors, and customers to minimize downtime.
• Orders and installs parts; responds to emergency service calls as required.
• Instructs customer operators on system operation and maintenance.
• Performs upgrades and modifications to equipment as needed.
