Job summary

Atlas Copco in the United States is seeking a Field Service Engineer to repair and maintain our equipment in the field, ensuring performance and reliability for customers. You will report to the Customer Support Manager and travel within your territory, with a hybrid work setup in Albuquerque, NM.

The role requires 2-3+ years as an industrial field service mechanic, an electromechanical degree or training, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years of experience as an industrial related field service mechanic.
• Electromechanical degree or training.
• Maintenance, overhaul and repair of equipment including electrical, hydraulics and/or pneumatics.
• Good command of English; second language a bonus.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in industrial environments with varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Customer Support Manager.
• Maintain fleet in the field.
• Repair down equipment in the field and at customer locations.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment throughout the territory.
• Develop and optimize efficient processes and routines.
• Improve measurable success to business targets.
• Document all work performed daily using company hardware and software.
