Job summary

Mycronic is seeking a Field Service Engineer to deliver on-site and remote technical service, installation, maintenance and repair for customers in the Harrisburg area and surrounding regions. You will work with sales teams, product engineers and customers to resolve hardware and software issues while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Travel expectations are significant, up to 75%. Ideal candidates have an Associate's degree or equivalent, 3+ years in electronics or robotics, and

Qualifications

Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or at least three years related experience.
Three years related experience with surface mount technology, electronics and/or robotics.
Valid driver's license; dependable vehicle.
Mechanical assembly and basic maintenance experience preferred.
Proven mechanical, electrical and computer competency.
Experience or training/certification in computers and Microsoft Windows environments.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoots, diagnoses, and repairs Mycronic products on customer premises, at company facility, and via telephone.
Provides training to customers and participates in the setup and demonstration of new products.
Assists in the preparation of system orders.
Provides pre- and post-sales support for all Mycronic services and products.
Maintains accurate records reflecting support and repair history; submits travel itineraries and reports timely.
Maintains assigned assets and returns defective parts to depots; ensures proper documentation.
