Job summary
By Light Professional IT Services in Scott Air Force Base is seeking a Field Service Engineer responsible for installations and technical support of network components. This role includes conducting site surveys, executing installations, and performing system tests to ensure quality deliverables.
The ideal candidate will have a BS in Engineering, at least 6 years of related experience, and must hold an active Top Secret security clearance. Proficiency in Juniper Routers and M.S. Office is required.
Qualifications
- 6 years of related experience in installation or relevant education.
- Experience with site surveys, installations, and cable management.
- Knowledge of ANSI/BICSI standards.
- Proven ability to lift 50 pounds and perform installation tasks.
Responsibilities
- Conduct surveys and installations for network systems.
- Create and maintain documentation during all stages of installation.
- Assist in the design and procurement of installation components.
- Provide technical assistance and support during system testing.
