Job summary

Segra is seeking a Construction Technician/Field Service Engineer in Lone Tree/Pueblo, CO for full-time, onsite work five days a week. You will oversee construction activities, supervise contractors, and coordinate equipment installation, testing, and turn-up at multiple sites.

Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will manage field progress, interact with customers and telecom professionals, and respond to emergencies on call, ensuring projects meet timelines and budget.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Required and/or a combination of job-related experience.
• 2+ years of general construction experience, telecom equipment installation experience preferred.
• Assist in monitoring and reporting inventory/material usage during construction cycle.
• Ability to effectively lead a crew to the completion of and in conformance with schedule, customer requirements and budget guidelines.
• Assist with the identification and troubleshooting of construction problems and offer timely and safe solutions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction activities on the worksite and supervise construction contractors in the field.
• Plan, implement, and oversee construction efforts at several work sites within designated market.
• Assist in day-to-day activities of the network including equipment installation, circuit/node turn-up & testing, and customer premise equipment.
• Coordinate with internal/external customers, service technicians, and telecom professionals; report field progress to Construction/Project Manager.
• Be on call to cover emergency repair and maintenance activities.
