Job summary

Verto People Ltd in Rockland, MA seeks an experienced Service Technician / Field Service Engineer to join a leading compressed air specialist. You will perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs across a range of equipment and support customers on-site.

The role involves travel within the region, starting with preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, installs, and commissioning of systems, with a full benefits package and a company vehicle provided.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Service Technician/Field Service Engineer in compressed air or similar industrial equipment.
Hands-on experience servicing and troubleshooting air compressors (rotary screw and reciprocating).
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities.

Responsibilities

Perform service, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on industrial compressed air equipment.
Work on rotary screw compressors, reciprocating compressors, air dryers, blowers, pumps and related systems.
Carry out preventative maintenance, inspections, and planned servicing at customer sites.
Diagnose faults, minimise downtime, and support emergency breakdowns in the field.
Install, start up, and commission new equipment and system upgrades.
Document service reports and communicate with customers on maintenance needs.
