Job summary

FloWorks International LLC is seeking a Field Service Technician - Applied Controls in Tulsa, OK. This hybrid role combines hands-on field service with project management duties to ensure timely, safe, and budget‑conscious deployments of analytical and control systems.

You will work with customers, vendors, and internal teams to deliver reliable technical solutions, while maintaining high customer satisfaction and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience considered.
• Experience managing technical projects.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to read/interpret technical drawings, specifications, and schematics.
• Proficiency with Office tools and AutoCAD/Project software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Travel up to 50% as business needs require.
• Valid driver's license and site access ability.
• Preferred: PLC-based automation systems experience (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Schneider).
• Preferred: Experience with process analyzers and instrumentation.
• Preferred: Knowledge of electrical schematics, P&IDs, and control panel designs.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain analytical equipment and control systems.
• Provide onsite and remote technical support to customers.
• Conduct system diagnostics and root-cause analysis to resolve issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections.
• Document service activities, findings, and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with safety requirements and regulations.
• Train customer personnel in operation and maintenance best practices.
• Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource requirements.
• Coordinate activities between engineering, operations, procurement, and customers.
• Specify equipment meeting customer needs and track milestones.
• Monitor project costs and ensure financial objectives are met.
• Manage project documentation, change orders, and communications.
• Ensure projects meet quality standards and contractual obligations.
