Hitachi Energy is seeking a High Voltage Field Service Engineer to join our team supporting customers across the United States. You will perform field assignments from installation to troubleshooting on high voltage equipment up to 800kV, collaborating with a skilled team to ensure safe, reliable operations.

You will lead service projects, diagnose electrical and mechanical issues, and contribute to continuous improvement while traveling extensively and maintaining strict safety standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in technical field service work.
• Hands-on experience with high voltage equipment up to 800kV.
• Knowledge of electrical testing and substation construction.
• Leadership experience in coordinating and leading crews.
• Proficiency in MS Office and test equipment software.
• Valid US driver's license and ability to travel extensively (80%).
• Candidate must already have work authorization to work in the United States.

• College or university degree in a technical field (electrical or mechanical engineering) is an asset.
• Over 5 years of experience in technical field service work.
• Hands-on experience with high voltage equipment up to 800kV.
• Knowledge of electrical testing and substation construction.
• Leadership experience in coordinating and leading crews.
• Proficiency in MS Office and test equipment software.
• Valid US driver's license and ability to travel extensively (80%).

Pay Transparency

The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $66,200.00 to $82,800.00, depending on experience, qualifications, skills, and work location. Benefits and other forms of compensation may also be available.
