We’re looking for a Field Service Engineer to support and maintain our advanced laboratory instruments, including digestion, distillation, protein, fiber, titration, and viscosity systems.

What You’ll Do

• Troubleshoot and repair complex lab systems from Gerhardt and SI Analytics.
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Document service activities, certifications, and resolutions.
• Support customers remotely when not in the field.
• Collaborate with internal teams for service planning and coordination.
• Travel up to 75% (primarily Monday–Friday, domestic and international).
• Represent Gerhardt with professionalism and build long-term customer relationships.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge (pumps, valves, high/low voltage).
• Hands-on experience with analytical instrumentation.
• Ability to read schematics, P&IDs, and technical drawings.
• Basic networking and software configuration skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Windows.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and follow all safety protocols.
