Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, calibrate, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on biomedical instruments. You will be the on-site contact for instrument issues, supporting sales, engineering, QA/QC, and R&D while contributing to histology and immunohistochemistry activities.

The role requires extensive travel (75%), with a full-time, day-shift schedule and remote work option for candidates based in the Chicago area.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Biomedical Equipment Technologies or related field.
• 4+ years of field service engineering experience in medical instrumentation.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with robotics and fluidics preferred.
• CBET certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
