Job summary

Tom Trese Networking LLC in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service medical laboratory analyzers and automated instrumentation. The role requires electronics and electro-mechanical troubleshooting and travel. A strong electronics background is essential.

You will install, service, and perform preventive maintenance, establish good customer relations, and coordinate issue resolution with the Field Support Group. Overnight travel is required.

Qualifications

• Certificate or AAS degree in electronics required.
• Experience with electronics & electro-mechanical troubleshooting.
• Overnight travel required.
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a field service engineer.
• Experience servicing medical lab analyzers or instrumentation is a plus.
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Responsibilities

• Installation, servicing, and preventive maintenance of instrumentation.
• Establish a good customer relations foundation.
• Coordinates problem resolution within the Field Support Group.
• Maintain car inventory, tools, trunk stock.
• Provides basic on-site training regarding operation of company instrumentation.

**** No Relocation. Need to reside within in the greater SIOUX FALLS, SD area

Service medical laboratory equipment (hematology, chemistry, coagulation, etc) for this manufacturer of medical laboratory analyzers. Current or recent Field Service experience in the Medical Device industry is preferred. You will be servicing automated robotic lab instrumentation in the greater SIOUX FALLS, SD area.

Position requires a good electronics & electro-mechanical troubleshooting backgrounnd.

• Good experience with electronics & electro-mechanical troubleshooting.
• Overnight travel will be required
• Minimum of 3 years experienceas a field service engineer
• Experience servicing medical lab analyzers or other medical instrumentation would be a plus.
• This job requires the individual to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
