Job summary

Delkor Systems, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, start up, and test equipment at customer sites, and to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and basic programming issues.

The role includes preventive maintenance, audits, training of customer personnel, and completing detailed service reports and follow‑ups. Travel to customer facilities is required, with opportunities for on-site work and documentation on Delkor’s production floor.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in automation, robotics, mechatronics, or related field.
  • 2+ years as Field Service Engineer I or 3+ years relevant field experience.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting ability.
  • Experience with RSLogix 500/5000, PanelView Plus HMIs, and reading schematics.
  • Ability to travel frequently, often on short notice.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and independent work skills.

Job description

Physical Requirements
  • Regular lifting up to 40 lbs; occasional lifting up to 75 lbs with assistance.
  • Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, and work in production environments.
  • 70% travel to customer facilities (industrial production environment).
  • 20% work on Delkor’s production floor.
  • 10% office-based work and documentation.
  • $35.00–$45.00/hour, depending on experience.
  • Field Service II and III may be eligible for a $12,000 sign‑on bonus.
