Job summary

Axionova Engineering Limited is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, calibrate, and commission equipment across project sites. You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control systems, provide on-site client guidance, and maintain detailed service reports.

You’ll collaborate with project managers and engineers, travel extensively, and ensure safety and compliance on all assignments. A PE/EIT is a plus along with PLC/SCADA experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering (or related field).
  • 3+ years of experience in field service engineering, preferably in industrial or infrastructure projects.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and maintaining electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
  • Experience using diagnostic tools and software for monitoring system performance.
  • Strong technical documentation skills and familiarity with project management tools.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in dynamic field environments.
  • Willingness to travel extensively and work on various project sites.
  • Valid drivers license is required.

Responsibilities

  • Install, calibrate, and commission engineering equipment and systems on project sites.
  • Ensure compliance with technical specifications, safety standards, and client requirements.
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on-site equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues promptly.
  • Provide on-site training and guidance to clients and site personnel regarding equipment usage.
  • Serve as the point of contact for technical inquiries, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain detailed service reports, including work performed, issues encountered, and resolutions.
  • Adhere to company, client, and regulatory safety standards while working on-site.
  • Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other engineers to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Assist the design and engineering teams with feedback from on-site conditions for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation & Setup:
  • - Install, calibrate, and commission engineering equipment and systems on project sites.

Additional Details

This job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely. The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $30.00 - $52.00/hr plus eligibility for bonus and benefits.
