Job summary

TRUMPF Inc. is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair TRUMPF CNC machines while building strong customer relationships. The role requires extensive travel and a proven background in engineering principles, electronics, and mechanics.

Travel is 100% nationwide with overnight stays and occasional international trips. An associates degree or technical schooling in engineering, plus related experience, is expected along with a clean driver's license and

• Associates program or technical school degree in Engineering principles or equivalent
• Experience in electronics, digital circuits, wiring, mechanics and hydraulics is helpful
• Must have and maintain a clean and valid driver's license and record

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, maintain and repair TRUMPF CNC machines
• Work with customers and provide diagnostic feedback
• Read repair manuals and service orders
• Assemble, install, align equipment, replace parts to maintain smooth operation
• Submit organized service reports
