LECO is seeking a Field Service Engineer for the Southeast region with remote work and travel up to five days a week to customer facilities. You will perform preventive maintenance, upgrades, installations, and training on analytical and metallographic instrumentation across TN/AR/MS with a focus on Memphis-area customers.

Ideal candidates have a two-year technical degree or military technical training, strong communication, and hands-on electronics experience (AC/DC, schematics).

Qualifications

• Two year technical degree or trade school is required or equivalent.
• Military technical training is considered an asset.
• Experience with field service and electronics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventive/general maintenance and breakdown repair on instrumentation.
• Perform installations and upgrades; provide training on operation and theory.
• Maintain safety and ISO-compliant work practices at customer sites.

You will spend a majority of your time at customer locations, with travel up to 5 days per week with more extensive travel on an as-needed basis. Build/ maintain relationships as a customer facing member of the team while supporting service activities at customer facilities. You will provide maintenance, repairs, upgrades, installations, and training on analytical and metallographic instrumentation in our Midwest Region. Primary service area comprised of one or more of the following states: Tennessee, Arkansas, and Mississippi with travel to surrounding regions on an as-needed basis. The ideal candidate will reside near Memphis, TN.
