Job summary

Anton Paar USA, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Representative to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and calibration of analytical instruments at customer sites across the Central region, with a focus on Iowa and nearby states.

You will manage trip planning and inventory while reporting to the Central Region Field Service Manager in Vernon Hills, IL. Candidates should live near Des Moines, Iowa, and expect frequent overnight travel (up to 75%).

Qualifications

• 3 years experience in troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining complex analytical instruments.
• Ability to work independently and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Ability to work with electronic schematics, test equipment, and repair tools
• Associate's degree in engineering or related technical field.
• Availability for frequent overnight travel (up to 75%).
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record and passport.

As a Field Service Representative and key member of the Central Region service team, you provide on-site service including preventive maintenance, calibration, installation, and training across all product lines primarily in the Central states with a focus on Iowa, Nebraska, Minnesota, Kansas, North Dakota and South Dakota. You will report to the Central Region Field Service Manager in Vernon Hills, Illinois. Candidates should be located in or near Des Moines, Iowa.

The base salary range for this position is $32.00 - $36.15 per hour and depends on technical and service experience within the analytical instrumentation field.
