Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support client sites across the Texas area. This is a 100% travel contract role focused on installation, maintenance, and calibration of high‑precision equipment.

Candidates must be a U.S. citizen, possess strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, be able to read blueprints and schematics, lift up to 75 lbs, have a reliable vehicle, and be available to travel Monday through Friday each week. OT and per diem apply.

Our client, aglobal leader in precision CMM equipment, is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support customer sites within TXArea. This is a contract position with strong potential for permanent placement.

Position Overview

This is a 100% travel role Mondays through Fridays every week, focused on the installation, maintenance, and calibration of high-precision equipment at customer facilities.

Pay

$32-$33HR + OT + Per Diem
**should be based in DFW, Houston or San Antonio TX**

Responsibilities

• Equipment assembly, disassembly, leveling, diagnostics, and repair
• Performing certifications and re-calibrations
• Delivering exceptional service and maintaining a professional presence on-site

Candidate Requirements

• Must have previous experience in field support with heavy travel
• Full availability to travel Monday through Friday every week
• Will need a reliable vehicle (until company van available) and clean driving record
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Must be a U.S. Citizen (due to ITAR regulations for federal site access)
• Capable of lifting up to 75 lbs
