Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Utilizes electromechanical skills to provide excellent service to customers.
- Performs on-site service, installation,and repair of semiconductor processing equipment
- Troubleshoot equipment problems.
- Participates in site safety programs to create a zero-hazard environment.
- Demonstrates ability to understand detailed electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Understands and adheres to all site fab protocol requirements.
- Comprehends test equipment including various test meters, handand power tools.
- Able to read engineering drawings and electrical diagrams.
Requirements
- Electronic and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Maintenance Technician skills with solid experiencein resolving tool-related challenges.
- A.S./B.S. or equivalent military.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills (MS Office Suite).
- English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- 60%-80% domestic or occasional international travel and/or occasional overnight travel to the factory, training facilities, and customer locations may be required.Subject to customer's business needs and requirements. Travel expenses paid.
Preferences
- Previous semiconductor experience is preferred.
Physical Effort and Activities
May be required to walk up to 5+miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time, able tobend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50-75 pounds. The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
