HCT Staffing is seeking an experienced Medical Imaging Service Engineer to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair GE MRI and CT systems across multiple clinical sites. The role emphasizes independent diagnostic ability, strong customer service, and reliability of diagnostic imaging equipment.

The ideal candidate has hands-on repair experience with medical imaging equipment, a strong technical background, and the flexibility to travel as needed within the region to support healthcare

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associates degree preferred; Bachelor’s in Biomedical Engineering or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of hands-on medical equipment repair experience.
• Experience servicing GE MRI and CT equipment strongly preferred.
• Military electronics training or manufacturer training programs an asset.

Summary/Objectives:

We are seeking an experienced Medical Imaging Service Engineer responsible for the installation, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of advanced medical imaging systems. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience servicing GE MRI and CT equipment and the ability to independently diagnose and resolve complex technical issues in clinical environments. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to support healthcare providers by ensuring critical imaging equipment remains operational and reliable.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Assist in the repair of diagnostic imaging equipment specific to GE MRI & CT and high-level electro‑mechanical backgroundMust be a self‑starter, able to travel and work independently with minimal supervisionAbility to resolve problems, think analytically, and communicate professionally in high‑pressure, time‑sensitive, customer environmentsPerform Scheduled preventative maintenance that includes calibrations and verifications of system specifications.
• Learn and gain knowledge of imaging equipment in order to perform preventative maintenance on machines.
• Accurately document all service activities in accordance with the Company Quality Standards.
• Assess, calibrate, and maintain test equipmentSubmitting field service reports timely and according to functional standards.
• Communicate with account manager on services being provided.
• Manage and Maintain company assets required to perform all necessary job functions.

Work Environment:

This job operates in the field where the individual will be going to several different sites to and will be around a variety of medical imaging equipment.

Work Schedule:

This position requires a flexible work schedule to support customer needs and critical imaging equipment uptime.

Physical Demands:

The physical requirements that are essential to perform this job are to talk and to hear. It will also be required by the employee to frequently stand; walk, lift up to 75 Lbs., to use hands to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

Travel:

This position requires frequent and regular travel as needed to service the technical needs of customers. The individual in this position must be willing to travel and drive distances to get to a variety of sites within a 4 hour radius. Some travel and assignments will require flying and overnight stays.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED requiredPreferred:Associates degree
