Job summary

Virginia Transformer is seeking a Field Service Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to develop and lead the safety program across our Field Service organization in North America. This hands-on safety leader will partner with Operations, Engineering, and customers to ensure all activities comply with OSHA, NFPA 70E, IEEE standards, and utility requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Hygiene or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 7–10+ years of Environmental, Health & Safety experience.
• Experience supporting Field Service or Construction operations.
• Experience with power transformers, utilities, HV systems, substations, EPC firms, or heavy industrial manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture across Field Service operations in North America.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA 70E, IEEE standards, utility safety requirements, and environmental regulations.
• Develop and deliver Field Service safety training and toolbox talks; conduct annual refreshers.
• Support customer safety meetings and partner with utilities, EPC contractors, and data center clients to standardize practices.
• Track safety metrics, prepare executive safety reports, and lead investigations of incidents and near misses.
